Congress Rules
All competitors in Major Congress events must be members of the Contract Bridge Association of Ireland (this rule does not apply to ‘out of state’ players).
All CBAI competitors should bring their CBAI membership card to verify their status (i.e. Novice/Inter A/Area Master, etc.). The definitions of these terms are as laid out in the CBAI Diary.
No player will receive more than one prize in any competition.
To be eligible for Best North Munster / Best Limerick Prize, a player must have been a member of a relevant club for at least 6 months prior to the Congress.
Category prizes in major competitions may be subject to there being sufficient entries.
The Committee reserves the right to modify the programme if necessary and to rule finally on any issue which may arise.
The Novice Event is open only to Novice Pairs.
Courtesy is expected at all times.
